Arcade Cabinet #7

Time to do the top marquee part.

First up the panels were cut and screwed together… which wasn’t as easy as it sounds due to the curves but it was eventually done with a lot of sanding.

And then the edges were routed with the two chamfer bits I have like all the other parts. Some more sanding follows.

I bought a piece of perspex for the backdrop, which was pretty expensive due to the delivery charges. Didn’t have a choice though as I couldn’t find a piece big enough locally. So anyway here is it cut and ready to go.

And then fully assembled with loads of brackets, screws, and automotive double-sided tape!

Together with the arcade style stool chair, my work is 90% done 🙂
